Fri, September 25 | 11:15 AM EDT–12:15 PM EDT
Topic: Experience | Knowledge Level: Intermediate

Rory Cassidy, BA

Imagine after thirty years, what you believed to be true about yourself and your childhood started to be questioned with visions coming through in dreams. In this presentation, survivor leader, Rory Cassidy, will talk about her experience of following an inner knowing that caused her to rewrite everything she was taught to believe. From a reality of being told she was born mentally unstable and a problem child in her family dynamic, to coming to terms that she was brainwashed, trafficked, and poisoned to forget the abuse. Rory will illustrate her healing journey from a mind, body, and spiritual lens and use artistic expression as well as psychological terms to help the audience paint a bigger picture. There will be discussion about different healing modalities she has used and the wisdom she has gained from her choices. She will talk about the impact this process has had on her life as an adult and how it shapes her current perspectives. Rory’s intention is to use her story to educate service providers of the impact mind control and regressed memories can have on receiving help, shine a light for survivors in their own journey, and make spiritual psychology more known in the field.
